About me

From her youth playing in competitive basketball to training in Muay Thai camps in Thailand and trekking the Himalayas as a young adult, Sian has always had a keen interest in health and fitness.  It was through these experiences that Sian learned the irreplaceable value of feeling vibrantly and vitally well, and her quest to know more led to her qualifications in Naturopathy, Nutrition and Western Herbal Medicine.

Shortly after completing her studies, Sian moved to Nepal to volunteer in a Tibetan Medical Clinic in Kathmandu.  It was here that Sian observed Acupuncture in motion, fell in love with the tactile and healing ways of Chinese Medicine, and devoted the following years to obtaining her Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture). Sian graduated with distinctions.

In 2019 Sian and her wife went through their own fertility journey and gained invaluable insight into the highs and lows that assisted fertility brings. This journey has lead her to dive deeper into the work of helping those that are also on the same path, inclusive of same sex and heterosexual couples trying to conceive naturally or those seeking assistance.

Throughout Sian’s pregnancy, she was able to become the acupuncture patient and deepen her awareness and appreciation of the stages in pregnancy. Sian’s understanding has guided her to feel very passionate about labour preparation, and the psycho-emotional aspect of those last few weeks.

In the vein of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Sian lives, breathes and encourages preventative health.  As an Acupuncturist and Naturopath, she is driven to empower those that she treats, and is wholeheartedly committed to helping her patients honour and reconnect with their best selves.  Sian is passionate about assisting with fertility, pregnancy and the psycho-emotional aspects of TCM.  At present, Sian practices out of  her home studio in Camp Hill.

In a treatment or consultation with Sian, she will use all of her skills and qualifications to assist with what you need, whether that may be acupuncture and cupping, nutrition, naturopathy, herbal medicine and/or massage.
